New Shoot Straight Clearwater Store and Range Opening Late April


The completely renovated Shoot Straight Clearwater store and range (formerly Knight Shooting Sports) is set to open in late April 2012! Shooters that have been anxiously awaiting the store opening, can also look forward to the "Grand Opening Sale", which will be held a few weeks later.

Shoot Straight Clearwater has a fantastic location on Florida's West Coast, with a diverse and dynamic population, that serves a growing community of shooting sports enthusiasts all the way up the coast. The huge, newly redesigned showroom will display over 1,000 firearms, and the cool, new, air conditioned gun range will comfortably accomodate shooters year-round.

The state-of-the-art and customized "Fresh Air" air conditioning system, is one of the very few in the U.S. that filter out all lead dust (for your safety). And, it truly uses 100% fresh outside air to ventilate the range. The firearms range has 19 lanes in total, of which 10 are for handgun use (25 Yd), and 9 are for rifle use (50 Yd).

There'll also be lots of firearm accessories, and shooting sports equipment, to serve all walks of shooting sports enthusiasts (you know who you are!). And, to get all our "new-to-firearms" customers started right, Shoot Straight Clearwater will offer the same great firearms classes our Tampa store customers love.

    Hope there is a good grand opening sale on a RUGER SR'C 9 compact. Looking for a new semi auto. Or a new S&W Sheild 9mmhave not seen one yet.

    Well finally stoped over an hour ago and asked a gentelmen in the parking lot if he knew when they were going to open. He replied few more weeks.....Good bye April and hello May.

    LOL, If I'm the guy making the public announcements for Shoot-Straight I would of put out a later date for the opening. Better to be early than late on an opening of a new store. And the ranges still won't be available for a few weeks after opening. It's still all much better than what was there. Can't wait to see it.

    I to am looking forward. Counting days or weeks it seems. Just a guy with little patience.... Go fiq. Hoping for a huge grand opening sale on a Ruger compact 9mm and now a S&W M&P 15 Sport. Hopefully that is where it will end. LOOKING FORWARD. Outside of building looks great.

    I went to the opening of Shoot Straight in Clearwater. Very sweet store and friendly employee's. The range looked very nice and cant wait to shoot at the range in a few weeks.Products were pleanty with what looked to be faily decent prices. Although I was tired from working 12hrs and didnt stay to long look forward to getting back there. THANKS SHOOT STRAIGHT. Nice job.

    Went to the stores opening day. I thought the store was done tastefully. Look forward to shooting there soon.While there checked out a Ruger src9 and S&W Sheild. Fairly decent prices and also chked out S&W M&P15 sport rifle also seemed to be a decent price. Went back the fallowing day to possible trade in my S&W SD9mm. and the offer that was givin was way bellow what I expected. Specially since only 3 to 400 hundred rounds have been thru it. Decided to keep my SD and make my gun purchases most likely else where I am disapointed in saying.However am still looking forward to shooting there soon. The sales associate that also was helping me was also very helfull and knollagable. I am sorry to say I can't recall his nake.
